End Semester Reporting and Editing


On April 2025, at CHRIST (Deemed to be University) NCR Campus NRITTA: Aazadi ki Kahani was presented by ‘Natyarpana’, the university dance team, as it hosted its annual dance production with a theme centered around the Indian freedom struggle - "Azaadi ki kahani." This performance encompassed the struggle that our ancestors and many freedom fighters had to undergo to attain freedom. Those struggles were represented through intricate dances and visual storytelling techniques. The dancers and actors brought the painful memories of the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, the Swadeshi movement, the Home Rule League movement, the Satyagraha movement, and the non-cooperation movement using the skills and talents to remind each Indian of the various struggles that one had to endure to obtain freedom. The audience members were imbued with pride in their ancestors' struggle for freedom and their heritage. Homage was duly paid to the likes of Rani Laxmi Bai, Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, and many more.

Jama Masjid historically called Shahjahanabad, is a place famous for its rich culture and heritage which serves as a tourist destination for foreigners, and its culinary excellence. Known for its juicy and delicate kebabs the site is a mecca-like space for all the non-vegetarian foodies who flock to the area with the famous Masjid-i-Jehan-Numa. Many vendors sell the food in diverse ways, including visible stalls, famed restaurants, and newly opened eateries with sumptuous décor, all touting mouth-watering Mughlai cuisines.
